Valve Is Reportedly Working on an FPS/RTS Game Designed for Steam Deck

According to Valve News Network content creator Tyler McVicker, Valve is reportedly working on an upcoming project codenamed Citadel, which is an FPS/RTS co-op game based on the Half-Life franchise.

McVicker says that Citadel will have a style like what you might expect if "Left 4 Dead, Alien Swarm, an RTS, and Half-Life [were] all having a baby." While Valve has yet to officially announce the project, it is claimed to be designed "with the Steam Deck in mind, due to how the game is supposed to be controlled."

Moreover, the content creator added that the game supposedly would include a "VR asymmetric co-operative component" but it might be dropped off during development. He also predicted that a potential timeline for the game could be some time "within the next year-and-a-half to two years."
