Today is the day that devout members of the PC Master Race have been waiting for - the price reveal for the new RTX 30 series cards. ASUS has revealed their entry into the fray with the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards.
It features a new all-metal shroud that houses three powerful axial-tech fans that utilize durable dual ball fan bearings instead of sleeve bearings, which are known to be less durable. The fan rotation has also been optimized for reduced turbulence, with the middle fan rotating in the opposite direction of the ones flanking it. A stop mode brings all three fans to a halt when temperatures fall beneath a certain threshold. Underneath, the GPU and memory both have their own heatsinks to ensure things stay cool under the hood.
As part of the TUF Gaming family, these cards feature durable components and validation tests that ensures your card will stand the test of time. The metal backplate features a wide vent that allows hot air to escape towards chassis exhaust fans instead of being recycled back into the GPU cooler.
You'll also find a GPU bracket and a stainless steel I/O plate to protect ports and facilitate more secure mounting. A conveniently placed Dual Bios switch allows customisation of the card’s default performance profile without software.
For a builder looking for a new “old faithful,” this is the card for you. The TUF-RTX3080-10G-GAMING is now available at RM3,360.
