Talk to Your Headset: Thermaltake Announced a Gaming Headset That Works with Alexa

"Alexa, tell Thermaltake."

A simple command for not-so-simple headset. The Thermaltake RIING Pro RGB 7.1 Gaming Headset does everything a gaming headset should - and more.

With a separate external Alexa-enabled device, you can instruct your RIING Pro headset - and any other iTAKE compatible hardware - to change colours according to your mood...or even the weather.

It also works with Razer Chroma if you have both the iTAKE and Razer Synapse 3 software installed. In case you're not familiar with Razer Chroma's capabilities, you can program your lighting pretty extensively - from dynamic syncing with cooldown timers, HP bars, and ultimate indicators, to simple ambient lighting to set the mood.

Apart from the aforementioned software compatibility, the RIING Pro also promises a premium audio experience with 7.1 virtual surround sound and oversized 50mm drivers. It also has a built-in ESS ES9018 DAC and SABRE9601K amp to deliver 24-bit/95kHz lossless playback.

No word on the pricing yet, but it will be expected to ship in Q1. You'll be able to pick one up via the TT Premium online store or through authorised retailers and distributors.
