News of the Samsung Galaxy S22 is all over the internet and while everyone's wondering when will the Galaxy S22 trio launch officially, a report from South Korea revealed that the company is set to host a Galaxy Unpacked event on 8 February where the Galaxy S22 series will be official.
Samsung is also expected to open pre-orders for the upcoming devices starting from the next day of the launch, which is 9 February. The actual sale could begin from 24 February.
Consisting of the Galaxy S22, S22 Plus, and S22 Ultra, the series is either powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset or Samsung's own Exynos 2200 processor, depending on the region of availability.
The Galaxy S22 is rumored to have a compact 6.06" display with a peak brightness of 1000 nits. Meanwhile, the S22 Plus will feature a 6.55" display whereas the S22 Ultra will come with a 6.81" display along with a slot for holding an S-Pen stylus. Both models are expected to offer 1750 nits of brightness and contrast ratios of 3000000:1. The phones are also said to include a new 45W fast charging support.
