Riot Games Southeast Asia has launched two collaborations with regional music performers in celebration of League of Legends: Wild Rift’s Regional Open Beta, which went live in late October. The songs were co-produced with Riot Games SEA’s agency partner, Madeviral.
One of the collaborations is the song “555” with Thai artists FIIXD, Younggu, DIAMOND MQT, MARINA, and Mona V, while the other is the song “ALL IN” with Indonesia’s Weird Genius and Singaporean Tabitha Nauser. The press release noted that “555” is an acronym for League of Legends, as well as a common Thai expression for laughter.
Riot’s Head of Marketing Southeast Asia Marc Johns said, “We wanted to create something special and locally exciting for our players in Southeast Asia, and we’re very thrilled to have worked with partners who share the same passion for games to produce these songs. We hope that players everywhere will gain a deeper appreciation of each other’s cultures, and enjoy these upbeat tracks while playing Wild Rift!”
