RUN!!! I mean to the cinemas when Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City arrives on 24 November. Sony Pictures Entertainment has revealed its trailer in which there are some familiar scenes for fans of the game, including the Spencer Mansion, zombie dogs, exploding helicopters, Umbrella, and the Racoon City Police Department.
The upcoming film combines the events and locations of the first two games: Spencer Mansion from the first game (1996) and the police station from Resident Evil 2. "I really wanted to go back to the original first two games and re-create the terrifying visceral experience I had when I first played them whilst at the same time telling a grounded human story about a small dying American town that feels both relatable and relevant to today’s audiences," director Johannes Roberts told Deadline Hollywood.
Resident Evil: Welcome to Racoon City stars Kaya Scodelario as Claire Redfield, Hannah John-Kamen as Jill Valentine, Robbie Amell as Chris Redfield, Tom Hopper as Albert Wesker, and Avan Jogia as Leon S. Kennedy.
