Capcom has revealed that Resident Evil Village will be getting "free additional DLC". According to Capcom's 2021 annual report, the game will be supported in the future with "free additional DLC".
While we only know that there will be free DLC, it's still not sure if it's story-based or cosmetic-based. Resident Evil Village previously released the Trauma Pack DLC, which launched packaged with the Collector's, Deluxe, and Complete versions of the game, and mostly contained cosmetic content.
