While the Redmi Smart Band Pro has launched in selected countries on 28 October, its global release comes almost immediately as it has been spotted on Xiaomi's global website. The successor of the original Redmi Smart Band comes with improvements and offers more features.
The smart band features a larger 1.47" AMOLED panel with 450 nits of maximum brightness. It's protected by a 2.5D tempered glass while the body is made of polycaprolactam. The body is reinforced with glass fibre, which allows it to resist water at 50 m under water. The strap is made of soft silicone.
The device can detect more than 110 types of workouts. It is also equipped with an accelerometer, gyroscope, and a PPG heart rate monitor. It is powered by a 200 mAh battery that charges over a small magnetic cable. On normal usage, it can last for about 14 days and on power-saving mode, it can last for 20 days.
Xiaomi hasn't revealed the availability and pricing of the Redmi Smart Band Pro so stay tuned for updates.
