Rambo Is Joining The Mortal Kombat 11 Cast

John Rambo will be part of the Mortal Kombat cast when Mortal Kombat 11’s Kombat Pack 2 arrives. The character will be voiced by Sylvester Stallone, who portrayed the character onscreen throughout the various Rambo movies. “Playing as Rambo is like time-traveling back with Kronika to 1982,” said a PlayStation blog post. “Our character artists have perfectly captured Rambo’s look from “First Blood.” They, along with our design and cinematics teams, drew great inspiration from that film, as well the subsequent sequels. Of course, having Sylvester Stallone voice one of his most iconic characters is an absolute thrill. We worked hard to make sure that every line of dialogue was true to the Rambo that fans know and love.”

Previous Mortal Kombat characters like Mileena and Rain are also joining the fray. Rain now makes use of a katar and can “open a rift to a previously unknown watery realm” with his magic. “Here, all of his classic moves are reimagined. His water powers are also expressed in new and unique ways,” says the blog. As for Mileena, she has gloves that provide her with claws in addition to her sais.

Kombat Pack 2 will be available for pre-order from 15 October both alone and as part of Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate, which comprises of the base game, Kombat Pack 1 and 2, and Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate will also feature 4K resolution, visual upgrades, selected cross-gen console compatibility, crossplay (or Krossplay, in this case), and more.
