After OnePlus pulled the just-a-joke card on the same day as the Galaxy Unpacked event, the company might really be launching a new device this year. According to Android Central, the OnePlus 9 RT will be unveiled in October, and it will offer "modest upgrades" over the OnePlus 9R.
Allegedly, the OnePlus 9 RT will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 processor and feature a 120 Hz AMOLED display and a 4500 mAh battery supporting 65 W charging. It will also pack a 50 MP main camera. It will be the first OnePlus smartphone to run on OxygenOS 12.
The OnePlus 9 RT will debut in India and China, and will be released in selected markets. Android Central also mentioned that the launch will be joined by another two Nord devices but it's still unknown which two. Looks like we'll have to wait till the official news from OnePlus to know more about its new devices and whether they will be released in the Malaysian market.
