OnePlus 9 Pro Leaked Images Show Hasselblad Camera

A bunch of purported images of the OnePlus 9 Pro have been leaked, with some of the images revealing a new Hasselblad camera.

In a video by Dave2D, we see images of a four-camera rear setup with the Hasselblad branding visible. The camera setup consists of a regular lens, wide-angle lens, ultra-wide lens, and zoom lens. There’s not much other info on the camera, but we do see images showing a tilt-shift photography feature and 3.3x zoom.

Aside from the camera, the leaks show off the OnePlus 9 Pro’s curved screen, which as Dave2D notes differentiates it from leaks of the regular OnePlus 9’s flat screen. The phone also seems to have a glossy back, a 1440p display, and a 120Hz refresh rate. Another image shows that the phone will have 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

In January 7, OnePlus CEO Pete Lau was reported as saying that the company would invest a large amount of resources in its cameras. If the leaked images are true, it would appear that partnering with Hasselblad is part of OnePlus’ plan of improving its camera quality. Previously, Gizmochina reported that a leaker had claimed that OnePlus was working with Leica for its cameras, before another leaker refuted the claims.

OnePlus previously released the OnePlus 8T in October 2020, while the OnePlus 9 is said to be arriving in March this year.
