MSI has announced a new line of business-oriented laptops, dubbed the “Business and Productivity” series. The lineup will feature a new logo as well.
The new business laptops are divided into the Summit, Prestige, and Modern series. All are powered by Intel’s new 11th Gen processor and have support for PCIe Gen 4 SSDs and Thunderbolt 4 with USB 4.0. In addition, they feature bilateral noise reduction for microphones and speakers.
The Summit series is heavy on security, with TPM 2.0, an IR camera, fingerprint reader, SD Card Lock, and more. Meanwhile, the Prestige series includes the Prestige 14 Evo, one of the first laptops to carry Intel’s new Evo branding. The Prestige 14 Evo will feature “instant wake, quicker login, and faster Wi-Fi connection which make it much more efficient at saving users’ precious time”, according to the press release.
The Prestige and Modern series will be available in Urban Silver, Pure White, Carbon Gray, Rose Pink, Blue Stone, and Beige Mousse colours.
In addition to the business laptops, MSI also unveiled the Stealth 15M, which weighs 1.78 kg and claims to be the “world’s thinnest 15-inch gaming laptop in its tier”. It comes with an 11th Gen Intel processor and either a GeForce RTX 2060 or GTX 1660 Ti for graphics. The laptop also supports PCIe Gen 4 and Thunderbolt 4.
