MSI Announces Its GeForce RTX 30 Series Graphics Cards
Following ASUS, it’s now MSI’s turn to announce its batch of third-party GeForce RTX 30 series graphics cards. The GPUs covered are the RTX 3090, RTX 3080, and RTX 3070.
MSI’s RTX 30 series cards fall under two series: GAMING and VENTUS. There are six cards in the GAMING series and eight in the VENTUS series.
The GAMING series will feature MSI’s new TORX Fan 4.0 design and comes with a matte-finish back-plate for reinforcement and passive cooling via thermal pads. For looks, it’s got Mystic Light on the exterior, which can illuminate colours in sync with the PC through Mystic Light Sync and Ambient Link and is controlled via the Dragon Center.

Meanwhile, the VENTUS series will have the TORX Fan 3.0, with triple and dual fan variants. The VENTUS cards are reinforced with a brushed-finish back-plate, while looks-wise it features a “rigid industrial aesthetic”.
MSI have yet to reveal the full specifications for its new cards, so details like number of cores, memory speed, and power consumption are still unknown at time of writing. You can check out the current info on MSI’s website here.
