HUAWEI has announced that its MateBook 2021 Series will arrive in Malaysia “very soon”, with more information to come on April 19.
The series consists of the HUAWEI MateBook D 14, HUAWEI MateBook D 15 10th Edition, HUAWEI MateBook D 15 11th Edition, HUAWEI MateBook 14, and HUAWEI MateBook X Pro. The laptops have been outfitted with upgrades like Intel’s 11th gen processors, Wi-Fi 6, 16GB of RAM, and FullView Display.
The laptops are meant to celebrate HUAWEI’s fifth anniversary, and are also part of its “comprehensive ecosystem for a seamless AI Life experience based on the innovative “1+8+N” strategy” that was announced in 2019.
In 2020, the company described 1+8+N is a strategy that aims to “bring digital to every home, person and organisation to create a fully connected intelligent world”. The “1” represents the smartphone which is the center of the ecosystem, while the “8” represents peripheral connected devices such as the HUAWEI FreeBuds 3 and HUAWEI Vision. Meanwhile, the “N” represents the “layer where everything comes together” and denotes the “millions of IOT devices” that are connected via Huawei HiLink. The “plus” represents Huawei Share and HiLink.
