Malaysia Pre-Orders for Mi 11 Ultra and Mi Smart Band 6 Begin This Month

Xiaomi Malaysia announced during the Mi Fan Festival that the Mi 11 Ultra, which was launched late last month, will be available for pre-order in Malaysia from April 8 at a price of RM4,299. The variant being sold comes with the 12GB+256GB configuration.

The phone can be found at Xiaomi’s Lazada and Shopee stores as well as Authorised Mi Stores. Xiaomi is also offering a deal where the first 200 customers to register their device online will get a Limited Edition Mi Fans Gift Set that has a Limited Edition Mi Bunny Keychain with custom name engraving and a Limited Edition Mi Fan Festival 2021 T-shirt.

As a quick recap, the Mi 11 Ultra is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 and is the first phone with Samsung’s GN2 large camera sensor. Its rear camera setup consists of the GN2 as its primary camera, a 48MP periscope lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultra-wide angle camera. The front has a 20MP in-display selfie camera.


Other features include a 6.81-inch WQHD+ Samsung AMOLED quad-curved DotDisplay with a 120Hz refresh rate and 480Hz touch sampling rate, as well as a small display on the back for information like notifications and time. It also has a 5,000mAh battery with 67W wired and wireless turbo charging along with 10W reverse charging.

Xiaomi Malaysia also announced that the Mi Smart Band 6, which was launched with the Mi 11 Ultra, and Redmi Note 10 Pro Mi Fan Festival Special Edition are making their way to Malaysia. The former will be available for pre-order for RM169 instead of the standard RRP of RM189 on Lazada from April 15 for a limited time, before being purchasable at Xiaomi’s Lazada and Shopee stores, Authorized Mi Stores, and other official retailers. Its features include a 1.56’’AMOLED touch display with 326PPI resolution, customizable band face support, 14 days of battery life, a magnetic port for clip-on and clip-off charging, and a 5 ATM water resistance certification.

As for the Redmi Note 10 Pro Mi Fan Festival Special Edition, it will be available for purchase from April 6 at Xiaomi’s Lazada and Shopee stores, Authorised Mi Stores, and other official retailers for RM1,099 "in extremely limited quantities". The phone is powered by a Snapdragon 732G and features a 6.67-inch 120Hz AMOLED DotDisplay with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and a 5,020mAh battery with 33W fast charging, and has a rear setup consisting of a 108MP main camera with 9-in-1 binning, an 8MP ultra-wide angle camera, a 5MP telemacro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor.

The special edition will have a Gradient Bronze colour and the Mi Fan Festival 2021 icon printed on its back. The phone will come in a “cosmic-inspired” package with a Mi Fan Festival postcard as well.
