Logitech Announces Logitech G923 Racing Wheel With TRUEFORCE Tech

Logitech has revealed their new racing wheel, the Logitech G923 Racing Wheel and Pedals.

While the name of the wheel itself is pretty standard for Logitech, it features a proprietary technology called TRUEFORCE. Logitech describes it as a high definition force feedback technology.

“Using actual game physics and audio in real time, it allows players to feel things like the roar of an engine, tire traction, the terrain of the track, and feedback of the steering wheel more than ever before,” says the press release. “TRUEFORCE connects directly to in-game engines, processing at up to 4,000 times per second to produce next-gen realism and detail in supported games.”

Aside from TRUEFORCE, the G923 features programmable dual clutch launch controls, a built-in rev indicator that uses built-in LED lights, on-wheel game controls for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, progressive brake pedals, and a 24-point selection dial. The last one allows players to adjust things like traction, torque, and brake force. The wheel also has a polling rate of 1,000 per second.

The G923 will launch in September 2020 at a suggested retail price of RM1,990. It will be compatible with PS4, PS5, and PC. You can check it out on Logitech's website here.
