Furthermore, a game test was also conducted in order to determine if the laptop was truly able to handle the games. The games selected for the test were Hogwarts Legacy and Elden Ring.

Hogwarts Legacy:

With Hogwarts Legacy, the Lenovo Legion Pro 7, is capable of running well without any lag even when having Ultra at every setting as well as Ray Tracing being on. In fact, even when the game runs smoother and at a higher resolution, due to the Frame Generation and DLSS respectively, the game doesn’t experience any visual or lag issues.

The Lenovo Legion Pro 7 manages around 120 FPS outdoors, catching every minor detail in the game, while managing around 150 FPS indoors. Overall, the gameplay felt really smooth and there were no issues whatsoever, whether it was indoors or outdoors.

Elden Ring:

Meanwhile in Elden Ring, the game is able to run at a consistent rate of 50 FPS, even when every setting, including Ray Tracing, is running at maximum setting. When playing through the game, the sights throughout the game were more graphically detailed and the colours were vivid, which made the overall experience of playing the game more enjoyable.

In addition, the laptop is also equipped with the Legion ColdFront: Vapor, an enhanced fan system with ultra-thin 3D fan blades. It also comes with a large vapour chamber and an intake and exhaust system which not only improves the airflow but it also boosts the thermal efficiency inside your laptop, which helps keep your laptop cool even when you’re gaming.

Lenovo Vantage

With the Lenovo Vantage, you’ll be able to optimise your laptop performance as you’ll be able to switch between the graphics card and CPU overclocking settings.

Furthermore, you’ll also be able to fully enhance your gaming experience by switching through different modes on the Legion Edge tab. Utilising the Thermal Mode Setting, you’ll be able to adjust your laptop’s performance speed by switching through the four modes provided, the Performance, Balance, Quiet and Custom. When using Performance Mode, the laptop’s fan speed and power consumption will be greater, but this also causes the fan speed to be a bit noisier.

Furthermore, Lenovo also provides another function which benefits gamers immensely, the Network Boost feature. With this feature, the laptop will automatically prioritise the network speed for games to ensure that you will not deal with any lag. Additionally, consumers will also be able to add other software such as Twitch and Discord onto the Network Boost list, and this will ensure that the network speed for those software will be prioritised as well. This will ensure that, even when you’re on a call with friends or streaming your game, players will not have to deal with any network issues.

Battery Life

WIth the Legion Pro 7 laptop, you’ll be able to enjoy unparalleled battery power as it is equipped with up to 99.99Whr, the largest battery that can be put into a laptop!
