HONOR 60 Series Announced, Featuring Snapdragon 778G+ Chipset and 120 Hz Refresh Rate

It's only less than two months ago since the HONOR 50 launched in Malaysia and the successor HONOR 60 has just been announced. The HONOR 60 series includes the HONOR 60 Pro and the vanilla HONOR 60.

The HONOR 60 is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor while the Pro variant is equipped with the Snapdragon 778G+ chipset. While both feature an OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate, the Pro variant has a slightly bigger screen at 6.78" compared to the HONOR 60's 6.67" screen. Both models pack a 4800 mAh battery, which supports 66 W fast charging.


As for their cameras, the vanilla model comes with a triple rear camera module comprising a 108 MP main camera, an 8 MP ultrawide lens, and a 2 MP depth sensor. On the other hand, the Pro model comes with the same 108 MP main camera, 2 MP depth sensor, along with a 50 MP ultrawide-angle camera. On the front, the HONOR 60 features a 32 MP camera while the HONOR 60 Pro uses a 50 MP sensor.


The HONOR 60 starts at 2,700 Yuan (~RM1,791) with 8+128 GB. There are also the 8+256 GB and 12+256 GB options available. The HONOR 60 Pro starts at 3,700 Yuan (~RM2,455) with 8+256 GB. It can also be upgraded to 12+256 GB for an extra 300 Yuan (~RM199). The HONOR 60 series will be available in four colour options: black, blue, green, and gradient.
