Here's Everything Showcased at the State of Play

No E3 this year, but hey we still have Sony's State of Play! At the event, we received announcements from Final Fantasy XIV to Resident Evil to Street Fighter 6, and more.


Resident Evil 4 Remake

Capcom revealed the Resident Evil 4 remake at the State of Play with a release date of 24 March 2023. The new trailer shows Leon Kennedy at rural Europe on a mission to look for the daughter of the president of the United States.


Stray

Stray was first announced last year as a cat game set in a cyberpunk world where you're a meow. Publisher Annapurna finally announces its release date and that would be 19 July so the wait will be over soon.


Spider-Man Remastered

Spider-Man Remastered will be coming to Steam and Epic Games Store on 12 August 2022. The remastered edition includes all DLC and we expect the PC version will support ray tracing too like the PS5 version.


Street Fighter 6

Capcom reveals the first gameplay trailer of Street Fighter 6 and confirms 3 new modes: Fighting Ground, World Tour, and Battle Hub. Training Mode, Arcade Mode, local versus battles, and online matches will also be available.


Resident Evil Village VR

If Lady Dimitrescu is not scary enough on your display, how about putting her right in front of your face? At the showcase, Capcom reveals last year's Resident Evil Village will be available for PSVR2.


Final Fantasy XVI

Square Enix showcases the gameplay trailer for the upcoming Final Fantasy XVI. The company has yet to reveal the exact release date but it's slated to come out in summer 2023.


Tunic

Tunic was first released on Xbox and PC in March, set in a world inspired by The Legend of Zelda. PlayStation players will finally be able to experience it on PS4 and PS5 on 27 September.


Rollerdrome

Rollerdrome is a cool skate-based shooter where players will have to use skate skills and shooting skills. It will arrive on PS4, PS5, and PC on 16 August.


The Callisto Protocol

The Callisto Protocol which was first announced back in 2020 finally gets its first gameplay trailer and it will be released on 2 December.


Eternights

Eternights is a dating-action game where you mix dungeon crawling and dating with 5 "quirky and loveable characters" to fall in love with. It will come to both PS4 and PS5.


Season: A Letter to the Future

Season: A Letter to the Future takes place in a "village safe from the turmoil of changing seasons". It's about "exploring, recording, meeting people, and unraveling the strange world around you".


Horizon Call of the Mountain

In Horizon Call of the Mountain, players will play as a former Shadow Carja Warrior named Ryas who is looking to redeem himself by investigating a grave new threat to the Sundom. It will arrive exclusively on PSVR2.


The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners

The second chapter of The Walking Dead: Saints and Sinners - Retribution - will arrive on PSVR2 in 2023 as a "direct follow up to the first game".


No Man's Sky

Hello Games confirms that No Man's Sky will get a new version for PSVR2 to make space exploration even more impressive.
