Hands on with four PlayStation games on PSVR2

We will had a chance to dive into the world of Resident Evil, Star Wars, Horizon and The Walking Dead.

A gorgeous look and new features are great, but when it comes to VR, seeing is believing, and our PlayStation team was excited to get our hands on some upcoming PS VR2 titles. Continue reading to learn about our gaming experiences with Guerrilla, Capcom, Skydance Interactive, and ILMxLab.

Horizon Call of the Mountain

The first title will be Horizon Call of the Mountain from Guerrilla. According to the information Kristen Zitani shares on PlayStation.Blog, she state that hand motions and aim feel so accurate and real to life with the PS VR2 Sense controllers when she scrambling up cliff sides and got her hands on a bow and arrow, everything feel so accurate.

Resident Evil Village

For the second title which is Resident Evil Village from Capcom. Players will be able to head back to the Castle Dimitrescu with the PSVR2 demo. Thanks to OLED, 4K PSVR2 displays, the details of carved gargoyles and ornately painted vases looks emersive. Also in the demo, players can also feel the thrill when chased by the daughters and Lady Dimitrescu which offers you a even deeper experience of survival horror experience within the eerie castle walls.

The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners - Chapter 2: Retribution

Upcoming third title for PSVR2 will be The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners. According to the gameplay experience shared by Tim Turi, he said that the combat encounters with walkers are tense. The accurate tracking of the PSVR2 Sense controllers are very impressive. Besides that, he also state that Skydance's attention to detail and player expression transforms game mechanics such as reloading made him feel like an action-movie hero when he flicked the double-barrel closed with one quick motion.

Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition

For the four title on this upcoming releases is Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition. As reported by Brett Elston, the early Batuu mission is just one scenario among many as the game will expands into different eras and disciplines. Within the mission, he played as a droid repair technician in search of cargo while other stories cast the player as Jedi or even IG-88. There will also be encounters with iconic characters like R2D2, C03PO and Yoda.
