Google Releases Final Android 12 Beta

Google has released the fifth and final beta of Android 12 for Pixel devices including the Pixel 5a, and several third-party devices.

The final beta is a release candidate build with last-minute fixes and performance improvements so it won't be too much of a difference from beta 4 or beta 3. The most noticeable change in Android 12 is the Material You design scheme, which includes an overall interface refresh, more fluid animations, and colour themes that adapt to the wallpaper. There will also be new privacy features, including the Privacy Dashboard as well as toggles and in-use indicators for cameras and microphones.

With the final beta underway, the official Android 12 launch is just "a few weeks away", according to Google.
