Genshin Impact Version 2.6 Update "Zephyr of the Violet Garden" to Arrive on 30 March

Genshin Impact version 2.6 update "Zephyr of the Violet Garden" introducing a new location, The Chasm, at the westernmost of Liyue. The story of the Traveler twins and Khaenri'ah will finally be uncovered. A new 5-star character, Kamisato Ayato will arrive with the new update.

The Chasm consists of a distinct violet-red area with an unfathomably deep space underground.

The area has been closed due to a series of mysterious accidents and is now overrun by monsters, Treasure Hoarders, and the Fatui.

When Travelers explore the location, they will face a new boss Ruin Serpent, and an Abyss at the end of the Chasm, where the main story continues with the new Archon Quest "Requiem of the Echoing Depths" in the company of Dainsleif. Players will be equipped with the Lumenstone Adjuvant to help light up their pathways. Complete the quests to receive rewards including a four-star Weapon Billet and an all-new Namecard.

A Magnificent Irodori Festival will take place too. There will be festivities and games, ranging from taking themed photographs for a Mondstadt bard, clearing stages in the upgraded Theater Mechanicus, dueling in sword fighting, or practicing the art of flower arrangement. Players who complete all the challenges will receive Xingqiu for free.

New to version 2.6 update is Kamisato Ayato, head of the Yashiro Commission's Kamisato Clan. He is a Hydro character who uses a sword as a weapon. He can unleash immense Hydro damage in a short amount of time and is capable of increasing the effects of his party's Normal Attacks. Both Ayato and Venti will be available in the first round of Character Event Wishes, followed by the first rerun of Kamisato Ayaka. Meanwhile, the weapon banner will feature a 5-star sword called Haran Geppaku Futsu.
