Genshin Impact Version 2.3 "Shadows Amidst Snowstorms" will arrive on 24 November, featuring new challenges in Dragonspine, investigation on the mass disappearance of small animals in Inazuma, along with two new playable characters - Arataki Itto and Gorou.
Shadows Amidst Snowstorms
Join Albedo, Eula, and others to endure the cold in the mountainous area in Dragonspine while accomplishing a series of agility, tracking, and combat training challenges to earn rewards, including a new 4-star sword, Cinnabar Spindle, and create your own "Puffy Snowmen". Meanwhile, small animals and a mysterious Warrior Dog in Inazuma have disappeared. Travelers need to investigate the disappearance and rescue them to obtain a special gadget that can replicate forms of some creatures in the Serenity Pot.
5-Star Character - Arataki Itto
Wielding a claymore and having the power of Geo, Arataki Itto can slash empowered charged attacks with his superlative strength and transform himself into the Raging Oni King, buffing his attacks while reducing his elemental and physical resistance.
Coming alongside Itto in the wish event is Gorou, who will be playable as a 4-star archer. Also a Geo, he can provide more buffs to characters on the field with more Geo characters in the party. Before Itto and Gorou arrive, both Albedo and Eula will be up for a rerun in the wish event.
The Golden Wolflord
A new boss will be coming to Tsurumi Island - the Golden Wolflord - joining its subordinates, the Rifthounds and Rifthound Whelps. The Golden Wolflord can apply the "Corrosion" status, which constantly lowers the HP of all party members regardless of their shields. On the other hand, it can summon the Rifthound Skulls to shield itself. The big boss can then further increase its attack by lowering its resistance to Geo attacks.
