The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV
The sequel and conclusion to the Trails of Cold Steel story arc, The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV will feature a cast that consists of not just the Trails of Cold Steel’s heroes of Class VII, but also the Crossbell arc’s Special Support Section and Trails in the Sky’s heroes of Liberl, as the characters come together to save the world. Outside of the story, there are turn-based combat and mini-games to experience. The JRPG will be released on October 27 on PS4, with a PC and Switch release due in 2021.
Ghostrunner
Ghostrunner is a cyberpunk first-person slasher. You’ve got parkour skills, superhuman reflexes, and a deadly monomolecular katana, but enemies outnumber you, have guns, and can kill in a single hit. It’s up to you and your skills to make it through as you scale the Dharma Tower, mankind’s last refuge after a “world-ending cataclysm”, in search of the Keymaster to take revenge. The game will be released on October 28 for PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Switch.
Watch Dogs Legion
The third game in Ubisoft’s Watch Dogs series takes the open world action and hacking gameplay to London. To rebel against a powerful corporation that has turned the city into a surveillance state, and to deal with a criminal organization and enemy hacker faction, you can recruit and hop into the shoes of practically any Londoner to take on the bad guys with hacking, stealth, and combat. The game will be out on Xbox One, PS4, PC, and Stadia on October 30, and will be playable on Xbox Series X and PS5 when they release.
The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope
The second game in The Dark Pictures Anthology after Man of Medan, The Dark Pictures Anthology: Little Hope follows four college students who are trapped with their professor by a supernatural fog in an abandoned town called Little Hope. The characters “must figure out the motivation of these apparitions before the evil forces at work drags each of their souls to hell,” says the Steam description. “Witness terrifying visions of the past, haunted by the events of the XVIIth century Andover Witch Trials”. The game can be played online with another player, or with up to five offline. It will be released on October 30 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
