This week, a new Pokémon game is coming on switch and players will uncover the mystery surrounding Arceus. If you're into more tense games, you can kick some aliens' butts in Russia or under the ocean too.
Hidden Deep
Hidden Deep is a 2D action & exploration sci-fi thriller set in a mining and research facility more than a mile under the ocean floor. A group of researchers detected strange anomalies of unknown nature and organized an expedition to examine the mysterious phenomenon. Communication with the team suddenly breaks off after 681 days. Players must lead their team in search of the missing researchers by exploring the oceanic caves while defending themselves from alien life forms.
Hidden Deep will be released on Steam on 24 January.
Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem
Siberian Mayhem is a standalone expansion to Serious Sam 4, exploring the heart of Russia where it's "huge, cold, and so unpredictable even the alien invaders feel lost." Players will be tasked to find the traitorous General Brand, where they will face five missions across Arctic coastlines, desolate forests, abandoned villages, and a ghost town. Alongside new enemies and bosses, players can expect new weapons such as the experimental crossbow and new vehicles like snowmobiles and towering mechs.
Serious Sam: Siberian Mayhem will launch on Steam on 25 January.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus
Pokémon Legends: Arceus is set in a bygone era Sinnoh region's history before the events of Pokémon Diamond and Pearl take place, where Arceus will play a major role. At the start of the game, players will have three Pokémon options: Rowlet, Cyndaquil, and Oshawott.
Players who purchase the game from the Nintendo eShop before 9 May at 4.59pm PT (8am on 9 May Malaysian Time) will receive an email with a code for 30 Heavy Balls which can be redeemed through the Mystery Gifts feature. Heavy Balls have higher catch rates than regular Poke Balls.
Pokémon Legends: Arceus will be available on Switch on 28 January.
