[Games Around the Corner] Week 3, 2022 - Save the World

Run!!! No, we mean let's go save the world. Only if you're a nobody cause Nobody Saves the World, get it? Chaos is everywhere when aliens just won't stop invading Earth. How do you kill off these beasts without some real skills like the SWAT team from the Six Seige spinoff? Or putting on a battle armor suit to give you extra strength and protection?

Nobody Saves the World

When the ancient Calamity re-awakens, who can save the world? The answer's Nobody, the protagonist of the game and the character that players will control. In this action RPG, players will learn abilities to shapeshift into over 15 distinct forms from a slug, to a rat, to a robot. Players can choose to take the form of different objects to complete each quest as every form has its own unique abilities. Players can invite friends to save the world together in an online co-op.

Nobody Saves the World will launch on Steam, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 18 January. It will also be available as part of the Xbox Game Pass service.

Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Extraction

Rainbow Six Extraction is a co-op PvE first-person shooter where players can bring up to two friends to infiltrate aliens called Archaeans. In each gameplay, players must complete missions while taking down enemies, such as collecting samples, extracting materials from computers, and more. When an operator gets killed during the mission, the operator will be marked as M.I.A and can only be played after players rescue them in an extraction mission.

Rainbow Six Extraction will debut on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, PS5, and Epic Games Store on 20 January.

Battlewind is a top-down sci-fi action game developed by Drakkar Dev. Assuming control of James Hawkins, who's trapped inside a prototype Battle Frame armor suit, players must fight off aliens to stop the invasion and find the teenager's father. Players can use the Battle Frame Drone to help them in their battles as they explore in single-player mode. In local coop mode, players can control the Battle Frame while another friend can control the Drone.
