[Games Around the Corner] Week 23, 2022 - Demon Slayer and Horror

This week, we'll get two horror titles, one being the spiritual successor to Until Dawn and the other being a first person survival horror. Also, Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles will finally be available on Switch.

Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Hinokami Chronicles

After it was released last year on other platforms, Demon Slayer is finally coming to Nintendo Switch on 10 June. The Hinokami Chronicles adapts the events of season 1 of the anime series and the movie The Mugen Train. Players will play as Tanjiro Kamado, taking on demons to avenge his murdered family and turn his demon sister Nezuko back into a human.

The Origin: Blind Maid

"In THE ORIGIN: Blind Maid, we will embody a real scoundrel, a corrupt politician on the run from justice after being accused of multiple charges. His plan was simple and seemed effective: to cross the Paraguayan Chaco with his assistant to escape to Brazil." the game overview reads. While the corrupted politician is evil, he's nothing compared to the darker evil, Blind Maid - discover her past and survive until the end.

The Origin: Blind Maid will arrive on PS4 on 10 June.

The Quarry

Played in a 3rd person perspective, players will control 9 different teenagers who must survive a night at the Hackett's Quarry. Make choices, change character development, and plot; every decision made will lead to a different ending. When players complete their first game, they will unlock Death Rewind to undo three character deaths in each subsequent playthroughs.

The Quarry will launch on Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S on 10 June.
