During the first week of 2022, we'll be getting an FPS featuring badass space dwarves, which was fully released last year. Also, two RPGs are waiting ahead of this week with one bringing new improvements and the other about human-turned swords.
Deep Rock Galactic
Developed by Ghost Ship Games, Deep Rock Galactic is a cooperative FPS in which up to 4 players will team up to explore destructible procedurally generated cave systems. On PS5, players can use the DualSense controller's touchpad to control the Terrain Scanner tool and get orders from Mission Control through the speakers.
Demon Gaze Extra
Demon Gaze Extra is the enhanced edition of Demon Game: Global Edition set in the world of Mythird where players will assume the role of Oz. The developer team promises that the game will include a high-speed battle function, a retry function, an enhanced autopilot function, and even a dungeon.
The western release of Demon Gaze Extra is coming to PS4 and Switch on 6 January.
Sword of Elpisia
"In Terra, a world whose civilization developed thanks to magic tools, there are frequent cases of people being turned into magic swords. Alice, a girl who is traveling with Aldo, the main hero, chooses to become a sword to rescue her friends. Will their journey and encounters lead them to a predetermined fate?" the game story reads.
The single-player JRPG will throw players into complex turn-based battles using magic swords with up to 3 weapons set. To use a Magisword or unleash skills players will need AP, which charges between attacks. This means they need to constantly make decisions about when to fight and when to sit back.
Sword of Elpisia will launch on Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S on 7 January.
