Former Console Exclusive 'Horizon Zero Dawn' is Coming to PC on 7 August

Yet another console-exclusive hit bites the dust. Guerrila Games has announced that Horizon Zero Dawn, which was formerly available only on PS4, will be making its way to PC on 7 August.

If you have not played the game before, it revolves around players controlling Aloy, the outcast and hunter as she travels through a futuristic, post-apocalyptic Earth teeming with roaming mechanical wildlife. Yes, robot tigers and eagles.

With better graphics and wide-screen support, you'll be able to explore the lush landscape of future Earth in all its magnificence. The PC version is available for pre-order on Steam, and comes with the following:

  • Horizon Zero Dawn base game

  • The Frozen Wilds expansion

  • Carja Storm Ranger Outfit & Carja Mighty Bow

  • Carja Trader Pack

  • Banuk Trailblazer Outfit & Banuk Culling Bow

  • Banuk Traveller Pack

  • Nora Keeper Pack

  • Digital art book

At a price point of RM80, it is a steal for the triple-A title that it is, but be prepared as the requirements for PC is much higher. You'll need 100GB of disk space and recommended specifications of an Intel Core i7 processor, GTX1060 graphics, and 16GB of RAM. Console-to-PC ports have always been iffy in the past, but Horizon Zero Dawn is definitely something we will be looking forward to in the next month.
