Final Fantasy 16 will not be released on PC after the 6-month PS5 exclusivity window

Final Fantasy 16 will be launched on PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023, with the exclusivity window for PS5 for six months. While many fans suggested that the game will be available on PC as soon as the exclusivity period drops. The game producer, Naoki Yoshida says in a Japanese PlayStation Blog:

"It is true that Final Fantasy 16 is a six-month limited time exclusive on the PS5 platform. However, it is a completely different story that the PC version will be released in half a year. I will make it clear: the PC version will not come out in half a year."

With this being told, we will not be getting the FFXVI PC version anytime soon, as Yoshida claimed that they will not be able to optimize it in six months. Still, it doesn't mean that there will be no PC version of the game, the development team will need more time to optimize the game for PC with no guarantee about when will the game be on PC.

Meanwhile, Gematsu has shared a series of Final Fantasy 16 exclusive gameplay with a total of 45 minutes from the demo, including Battle with Suparna and Chirada, Battle with Benedikta, and more.
