Asus Unveils New NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 Series Graphics Cards

ASUS has unveiled five versions of the new NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 series graphics cards announced during CES 2022, armed with 8GB of VRAM, robust cooling, and great durability. The GeForce RTX 3050 series is the first 50-class desktop GPU to power the latest ray-traced games at 60fps.

The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB features an addressable RGB LED ROG logo on its backplate and a full-length light strip compatible with Aura Sync. It comes with a 2.7-slot heatsink for heat transfer and three Axial-tech fans to maintain low temperature. It also used extra-durableb SAP II capacitors to handle heavy loads alongside premium chokes and MOSFETs.

For smaller cases like a microATX or a Mini-ITX, ASUS offers the Dual GeForce RTX 3050 8GB and the Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 8GB graphics cards. The former features dual Axial-tech fans while the latter only has a single one. Like the Strix GPU, the fans will operate at 0dB when running light loads or when the temperature is low.

The prices of the new graphics cards are as follows:

  • ROG Strix RTX 3050 - RM2,350

  • ASUS Dual GeForce RTX 3050 - RM1,910

  • ASUS Phoenix GeForce RTX 3050 - RM1,690
