ASUS Republic of Gamers announced the new ROG Swift 500HZ, the world’s first 500Hz refresh-rate esports gaming monitor. It features a 24.1-inch FHD (1920 x 1080) screen that utilizes Esports-TN panel (E-TN) technology to produce 60% shorter response times compared to standard TN LCD displays. Thus, making it the fastest LCD display ever.

Partnering with Nvidia, the Swift 500Hz will include Nvidia G-Sync and Nvidia Reflex Analyzer. Gamers are able to tune their settings to have the lowest possible amount of input lag without stuttering or tearing. Nvidia’s G-Sync technology makes it so that every frame is pushed out onto the screen as soon as they are available, reducing motion blur.
With Nvidia Reflex Analyzer, gamers are able to measure any latency with a click of the button, ensuring that you are able to catch it and reduce it to get the most responsive controls, a crucial factor in esports gaming. And last but not least, the built in enhanced Esports Vibrance mode is specifically tuned for esports as it allows more light to travel through the LCD crystals, producing even more vibrant colors.
Unfortunately, we don't have a release date or pricing yet. But due it being marketed as an esports gaming monitor, we don't expect it to be cheap.
