ASUS has announced two new NVIDIA RTX 30-series graphics cards, the ROG Strix and TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 12GB GPUs with 2GB more VRAM than their predecessors for the best 4K gaming experience.
ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 12GB
The ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3080 12GB features a big 2.9-slot heatsink cloaked in an angular shroud with a full-length addressable RGB LED array on the left edge. For better heat dissipation, there's a cooling cutout on the metallic backplate. It also uses three Axial-tech fans with a counter-rotating pattern to handle turbulence while operating in quiet mode. Under light workloads, the fans will go completely silent at 0db. To maximize overclocking headroom, there are 3 eight-pin PCIe power connectors to draw current directly from the PSU for less stress on the motherboard. The ROG-STRIX-RTX3080-O12G-GAMING is now available at RM7,470.
TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 12GB
Suitable for those looking for an understated but high-performing GPU for their DIY PC build, the TUF Gaming GeForce RTX 3080 12GB comes with a blacked-out, brushed-aluminum cooling shroud atop, housing three Axial-tech fans. Beneath it is a 2.7-slot heatsink. It has the same 0db mode as the Strix GeForce RTX 3080 for cooling. The graphics card also has an Aura RGB LED accent that can be synced with other Aura Sync devices.
The TUF-RTX3080-12G-GAMING is priced at RM7,000 while the TUF-RTX3080-O12G-GAMING is priced at RM7,050.
