ASUS Announces Availability of New Z690 Series Motherboards

Today, ASUS announced the availability of its new Z690 motherboards that support DDR5 RAM and PCIe 5.0, from the ROG Maximus to the ROG Strix, as well as TUF Gaming, ProArt, and Prime motherboards. The new lineup of motherboards is built to support the all-new 12th Gen Intel Core processors, which feature up to 16 cores and 24 threads.

The motherboards now come with an exclusive new memory overclocking platform called the Asus Enhanced Memory Profile (AEMP), along with onboard PCIe 5.0 M.2 slots, NVME RAID, Thunderbolt 4, 10 Gb Ethernet, and Wi-Fi 6E. Asus has worked with DDR5 manufacturers to develop a special blend of circuitry and firmware for its Z690 motherboards to bypass the restriction of the DDR5 RAM with a limit of 1.1 volts. The Z690 series has built-in Windows 11 support and is compatible with CPU coolers designed for both LGA 1200 and the new LGA 1700 socket.

The Z690 series motherboards' prices are as follows:

Consumers who purchase the Z690 ROG or ProArt motherboards will receive a trial membership of Adobe Creative Cloud. Those who purchase selected Z690 motherboards bundled with the 12th Gen Intel Core processors will receive a free Xbox controller, IKEA gift card, and a ROG T-shirt worth up to RM450. Additionally, there's a special motherboard and AIO cooler bundle promo available now on the ASUS Lazada official store.
