Eric Baptizat, ex game director of Assassin's Creed Valhalla who left Ubisoft to join EA Motive, is directing the remake of Dead Space. Baptizat updated his LinkedIn profile revealing that he will be the game director of EA Motive's Dead Space.
Baptizat was also the lead game designer of Assassin's Creed Origins, Assassin's Creed Unity, Assassin's Creed IV Black Flag, Shaun White Skateboarding, James Cameron's AVATAR, and Surf's Up.
Recently, EA has officially announced the Dead Space remake with no release date revealed yet. The remake will be exclusively available on PS5, XBox Series X/S, and PC.
