If you're using an iPhone, you've probably gotten used to its proprietary Lightning port but Apple may ditch it in the upcoming iPhone 15 series in 2023.
The company is expected to launch its iPhone 15 lineup in H2 of 2023 with a USB-C charging port, replacing the original Lightning port, according to analyst Ming-Chi Kuo. He also adds that the USB-C port will allow for faster data transfer and charging speed. As most iPad models have already shifted to the USB-C standard, it's no surprise that Apple will change its stance on keeping the Lightning port.
