Apple has revealed the price of its upcoming MagSafe Duo Charger.
The MagSafe Duo will be priced at RM589, and the box will include the charger itself and a USB-C to Lightning cable. Apple recommends its separately-sold 20W USB-C Power Adapter RM99 to go along with it.
Aside from being able to charge a phone and another device simultaneously, the MagSafe Duo can be used for more devices than the regular MagSafe Charger (which costs RM179). Aside from compatible iPhones, it can also be used for Apple Watch and other Qi-certified devices.
The video below shows it being used to charge a phone and Apple Watch, with the dock for the latter being able to be flipped out. The MagSafe Duo can be folded when not in use.
MacRumors previously reported that the MagSafe Duo had passed the National Radio Research Agency compliance test in Korea, with 9to5Mac noting that it usually means that a release isn’t too far behind.
The MagSafe Duo can’t be purchased yet, but the iPhone 12 series is now available for pre-order and will release on November 13. Perhaps both MagSafes will become available on that date as well.
