Amazfit has rolled out its new true wireless earbuds with enhanced health monitoring features and multi-scenario active noise cancellation technology - the Amazfit Powerbuds Pro.
The Amazfit Powerbuds Pro features an in-ear PPG heart rate sensor that monitors users' heart rate when they exercise. Users will be able to track their heart rate status by simply tapping on either side of the earbuds and users will receive an alert when the earbuds detect an overly high heart rate. The earbuds can also recognise when running starts and will automatically start tracking relevant sports data.
The earbuds have an accelerometer that can detect the sitting angle of users' cervical spine. They will send a reminder to users to move their heads and necks if they remain in a fixed position for too long. The earbuds will also monitor the decibel level of audio in real-time and will suggest optimised volume level according to the World Health Organization's hearing protection standards.
The Amazfit Powerbuds Pro is equipped with a hybrid digital adaptive noise reduction and passive sound insulation technology that can cancel noise up to 40 dB. The technology allows users to switch between different modes throughout their day, including the indoor mode, travel mode, workout mode, and adaptive mode. The indoor mode blocks out noises like keyboard tapping and air conditioning, especially for uses who need to focus on their tasks. The travel mode blocks the sound of engines without cancelling out the sound of announcements while the workout mode blocks environmental noise without shutting off traffic sounds. Lastly, the adaptive mode will automatically adjust the noise cancellation depending on the user's surroundings.
Each earbud houses three microphones with an AI call noise reduction algorithm for enhanced call quality. The earbuds can last for up to 30 hours with the charging case.
The Amazfit Powerbuds Pro will be available for purchase from 21 August onwards on the Shopee Amazfit Official Store priced at RM639. The earbuds retail at RM699.
