Alongside several big titles revealed during the PlayStation Showcase, the trailer of Alan Wake Remastered has been officially shown during the event. It will be released on 5 October, featuring the base game and two story expansions: The Signal and The Writer.
Play as troubled author Alan Wake, who goes on a desperate search for his missing photographer wife, Alice. The sleepy Pacific Northwestern town of Bright Falls isn’t what it seems. A malevolent presence lurks in the dark, and a horror story Alan doesn’t remember writing is coming true.
The upcoming game will offer 4K resolution, updated environments, cutscenes, and a new commentary from Sam Lake, Remedy Entertainment's Creative Director. Lake also confirmed that the game will run at 4K at 60 fps and 30 fps on PS5 and PS4 respectively. Meanwhile, the PS4 Pro version will offer Performance (60 fps) and Quality (4K at 30 fps) modes.
Alan Wake Remastered will be released on PS5, PS4, PS4 Pro, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and Epic Games Store on 5 October.
