Corsair Launches HS70 Bluetooth Headset with Simultaneous Wired and Wireless Audio

Corsair has just announced the HS70 Bluetooth gaming headset which comes with two wired connections options - USB and 3.5mm - and Bluetooth compatibility. The interesting part? It can support wired and Bluetooth wireless connections at the same time.

While you may think this is rather redundant, it's actually a great solution for handheld gamers of consoles that don't have a built-in voice communication system, such as the Nintendo Switch. Due to reasons unknown, the Nintendo Switch does not have a built-in voice comms on the console itself - it is suspected that the family-friendly company wants to keep things PG13 for younger gamers who may encounter unsavoury players online. It however, DOES have a voice comms app on the Switch mobile app, which you'll have to download separately on your mobile phone.

The Corsair HS70 Bluetooth's simultaneous wireless and Bluetooth support will enable players to enjoy wired in-game audio and communicate with their online buddies via the Switch mobile app on their phones at the same time.

Aside from that, the HS70 Bluetooth comes with the usual trimmings, including 50mm neodymium audio drivers, lightweight plush memory foam ear cups, and a detachable uni-directional noise-cancelling microphone. The rechargeable battery purportedly lasts up to 30 hours, while the Corsair iCue software will enable you to adjust audio equaliser settings and more on the fly.

The Corsair HS70 Bluetooth gaming headset is available immediately. You may find more info on the official product page here.
